Stay tuned all week as myself and PPCF DT really show off their talents with our Sponsor.  There will be "The Power of Poppy" flowing over PPC blog all week long.  Such talent this team has, I am blessed to have them be more than teammates but more like sisters.

First up is Irene, sharing with you a card I made using the Digital Image from Power Poppy Image - Cherries and Berries...
This is soo much fun to make... I just played around with
it one evening and just enjoyed myself.

This above is just showing you the full front view.
Here below,  I am trying to show the design of the card better and that I used several cut-outs of the half circles for dimension.
I also used the flower die normally on the one pop up half circle
but then used it with Foamiran on the circles that lay flat.

I added some jewels just for an extra touch.

Copic colors used are:
R39, 37, 35, 30, 02
G97, YG03, YG11
BV20

Ewwwww!

Hello, Rhea here today.  Do you know what happens when you put DoveArt Studios with Riley & Company together for a holloween card?  A true explination of me and spider webbs!!!
Ewwwwww...I hate them!  I just know that eight legged thing that built the web is on me and I can't see it.  It gives me the willies just thinking about it!
Tanya must feel the same way or how else could she have not come up with this sentiment.

Well, honestly there were not enough colors to do a Color Palette.  No seriously!
N1,3,5 BV20 and BG000
Crystal Sickles

For the border I use my old rectangle dies yo make a frame and then embossed it with an old mini dot embossing folder in my stash.  I took a .003 multiliner to dot around all embossed dot, then placed a small dot of BV20 in the center.  With a .8 multiliner I dotted inbetween each embossed dot.
The Sentiment was die cut then colored from dark to light with the same colors as the web and tied with twine.

Shopping List:

Thank you for visting again today!  This was such a fun and easy project and still makes me laugh.

Digi's on the 5 - Power Poppy New Release!

Hahaha... hot on the heels of Cherries & Berries, comes a new holiday-themed digi, Merriest Berries!

Merriest Berries
http://powerpoppy.com/products/merriest-berries/

Three berry-ful options await with this festive holiday set. A bubbling cluster of Holly and Mistletoe overflows with berries, all resting on a bed of ribbon. Whether you choose the bow, the dovetails, or the candy cane option, you are guaranteed to have a good time coloring this one up. Don’t worry about which berries belong to the Holly and which go with the Mistletoe, but rather, have fun using whichever tones float your holiday-happy heart! A "Merriest Wishes" sentiment is available as a complete whole, and as individual words, to add variety to your cardmaking.

This set just grabbed me!  To me, the holidays are traditional and have a vintage feel.  When I was little we use to hand candy canes on the tree, thus I chose this one to color.

here is more of an angle.  Yes, the dies are from Creative Basics by Rhea. Using the;
I made the 5" x 5" flip card (if you turn your head sideways you can see it) lol
But, I added a piece of cardstock to the back, by folding over a flap and attaching.   Now it is a 3 layered pop out easel card.  I have a video on Creative Basics Dies by Rhea Facebook Page.

So, make sure to grab this digi from Power Poppy!

Thanks for visiting today!
My fellow Instant Gardners are also showing their talents and designs with this new release, check them out!

Harvest Wreath - DoveArt Studios

Welcome back!  Robin here from Robin's Crafting Nest.

The Creative Basics Dies by Rhea design team is showing off our work this week here on the blog and also at Passionate Paper Creations and Friends Facebook page.  We have made some wonderful cards to share with you to give lots of ideas on how to use these dies in different ways.

Today I created an easel card using three different die sets in Rhea's new release.

I started with a piece of 6 inch x 12 inch card stock.  I scored the card stock at 3 inches and 6 inches to create the card folds.  I then used the largest Half Double Stitched Circles die at the 3 inch line to create the popup for the easel card.

For my stamp I chose the beautiful Harvest Wreath from DoveArt Studios which is available at C.C. Designs.  I used the largest Double Stitched Circles die to frame my wreath.  The largest circle coordinates with the largest half circle.  The wreath fits perfectly within this circle.

For my sentiment I used the Fancy Rectangle Build A Card Die Set for the frame and the beautiful leaf.

Picture from the side so you can see how it easels.  The popped up sentiment die frame helps to hold the easel open so it stays in one place.

Here are the Copic Markers I used to color the wreath:

Raspberries: RV63, RV66, RV69
Grapes: YG03, YG05, YG07
Holly Berries: R24, R27, R29, R89
Small Berries: R11, R12
Leaves: YG93, YG95, YG97, YG99, G24, G28, G29, E19

You can find the full release of Creative Basics Dies by Rhea through C.C. Designs.

I really enjoyed making this card because I have never made an easel card before.  I am very happy with the way it came out.  Hope you enjoy!

Dotted Daisies in the Rain

Hello and welcome to Passionate Paper Creations.

Dorinda here today with my design using the new dies
Creative Basics by Rhea

There are five sets:

Cloudy Days and Waves                         Dotted Daisies                            Double Stitched Circles

Fancy Rectangles Build A Card Set                                                          Half Double Stitched Circles

I've taken three of the sets and created my card.
I've used

I love Rhea's Create a Card dies.
The rectangle is always my go to. It just fits everything.
What I love most about this one is that I can go vertical or horizontal with my card.
The little inside bit, is a square. LOVEEEE
I used all sizes of the  Cloudy Days and Waves
with my background paper. Then I scattered the placement to create the cloud look.
Now, the coolest thing here is...
Wait for it...
When I cut the glued cloud pieces together an went to cut the shape...
ONE PASS through my machine!

I used a the leaf with Dotted Daisies
I was seriously so impressed with the cloud, I had to test another theory,
I used art foam for my material.
Yep, one pass.
Oh my gollies.

And that leaf...
so delicate and it fell right out of the die.
No punching, poking or struggling.
Love them.

So for my total cuteness to finish of my card, I choose this little honey,

Oh, and did I mention the price of the new dies?
They are all under 20$.
Go check them out.
Hurry, the supplies are limited.
